Our mission
Hawker centres are Singapore's living heritage — hundreds of centres, thousands of stalls, and some of the best food in the world at honest prices. We are building the structured, bilingual encyclopedia they deserve: every centre, every stall, every dish, searchable and explained.
Why it's hard to navigate
Menus are handwritten, names mix four languages, signage assumes you already know the dish, and the best information lives in locals' heads. First-time visitors — and even locals in an unfamiliar centre — end up queueing blind.
English and Chinese, side by side
Every dish gets an English explanation and a Chinese name, so you can read the signboard, order confidently, and know exactly what arrives at your table.
